well it happened again. Down to the deadline and something blows up threatening the submission in time for the deadline. Does this happen on every single project everywhere ever?I mean damn it’s happens at work every time too. We have to have deliverables out at 4.30 and we’re still picking up comments at 4.29. Damn you Murphy!!

    Err, yep, I think it’s a law of the Universe. The only way round it is to self-impose a deadline a month before the actual deadline, then work to that. But since things will inevitably go wrong, you need to put a deadline a month before that, and then… oh damn.

    Or else ignore the deadlines, make the movies on whatever schedule works for you, and then submit whatever’s ready when the deadline hits.
