After the release of the ut3 vs halo dance video, we were contacted by the PR firm that handles the Xbox canada account asking us if we could possibly make a Halo Wars machinima before the release of the game.  I was delighted to talk with them. I let them know what all I needed and what was involved.  Long story short is that after a dozen email exchanges they were unable to gain permission from Bungie and MSoft for the characters and Epic for the engine.  If I were Microsoft I probably wouldn’t want people to see how awesome Halo looks in the unreal engine either.  The bright side is that I have decided to do it anyways  maybe
